Heartberry Therapy & Wellness — Our Roots

Heartberry Therapy & Wellness is informed by Indigenous healing practices that emphasize balance, renewal, and our relationship with the world around us. This approach fosters a therapeutic approach that supports emotional healing while moving at a pace that helps your nervous system feel safe and supported, all while guiding you towards lasting resilience.

The name Heartberry reflects both ancestral teachings and the deeply human work of healing—where nourishment, patience, and care allow something new to take root. In many Indigenous traditions, berries symbolize medicine, resilience, and life force; the heart represents emotional truth, intuition, and relational wisdom. Together, Heartberry speaks to healing that is gentle, intentional, and deeply sustaining.

At Heartberry, healing is not about fixing what is broken, but remembering what has always been within you. The practice is founded on the belief that wellness emerges when individuals are supported in slowing down, listening inward, and reconnecting to their inherent strength. This work holistically honors the mind, body, and spirit, while remaining grounded in evidence-based, trauma-informed care.

Our Mission
Heartberry Therapy & Wellness exists to provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed therapy that supports deep healing, emotional resilience, and self-trust. Through collaborative care, including EMDR and relational approaches, we empower individuals to reclaim their sense of self and move forward with clarity, confidence, and compassion.
